North Star Nights is Redemption City’s cold weather shelter, operating throughout the winter months to ensure no one in our community is left out in the cold. Guests are welcomed with a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, and compassionate staff and volunteers who provide a sense of dignity and care when it’s needed most.
How it works
North Star Nights operates during extreme cold weather, offering overnight shelter for adults experiencing homelessness.
Guests check in each evening and are provided dinner, a safe sleeping area, and breakfast before departure the next morning.
Our goal is simple: to keep our neighbors safe and warm through the winter.
When?
December 1st - March 31st
Where?
North Star Navigation Center — 547 N. Bradford St. Seaford, DE 19973
What Time?
Check is from 7pm-9pm and departure will be at 7am the following morning
Who can stay?
Adults 18+ who are currently experiencing homelessness
