Why

An elderly person who had shared their home with their bird for over a decade was suddenly facing eviction.

Someone needed emergency medical care but had nowhere safe for their two dogs.

A person finally found a warm place to sleep…but nowhere their cat could stay.

These aren't hypothetical stories.

    Every gift helps lay the foundation for Pawprints to Home by funding startup costs, building community partnerships, and preparing us to launch services for people and the pets they love.

    We're looking for passionate volunteers to help us build Pawprints from the ground up. Whether it's reaching out to local businesses, connecting with veterinarians and groomers, organizing donations, helping at community events, or lending your professional skills, there's a place for you here.

    Sometimes, a little assistance at the right time is all it takes to keep a family together. As Pawprints to Home grows, we'll work to remove the pet-related barriers that can stand between someone and the help they need. Through services like a pet pantry, pet retention assistance, emergency veterinary support, temporary boarding, grooming assistance, and other forms of direct assistance, we'll help families overcome temporary challenges before they become heartbreaking decisions.

  • Support

    Sometimes a little guidance can make all the difference. Everyone who reaches out to Pawprints to Home will be welcomed with compassion and connected to the resources that best fit their situation. For those facing more complex or ongoing challenges, we'll offer personalized case management, resource navigation, and individualized support to help people build stability while keeping the pets they love by their side.

    No one should have to wonder where to turn next. As we prepare to launch, we're building the network that makes it possible to say "yes" when someone needs help.
